blue tan french bulldog

Our opinion of blue french bulldog drives from spending a lot of time with them. We believe that blue tan french bulldogs are stunning and beautiful rare french bulldog. It is the rareness of the D gene which makes the blue tan french bulldog unique and that is why there is a higher price to pay for the blue tan french french bulldog than the standard colours.

The rare dilute gene D is found in many breeds and the French bulldog is no exception as it also exists in our breed. This is not a defect as it is a naturally occurring gene with this breed. The dilute gene has been in the gene pool since the start and it merely affects hair colour and so has no bearing on the dogs temperament, conformation or health. A french bulldogs health is not affected because of the blue colour and there is not factual biological evidence that supports this.
